Yes. TableSathi is a full cafe POS and billing system. Your staff take orders on any phone, tablet, or till computer; each order’s kitchen ticket (KOT) prints automatically at the right station; and the counter prints a clean PAN/VAT bill with proper fiscal-year invoice numbering and Bikram Sambat dates. Because orders, kitchen, billing, and stock are one connected system, the dish a waiter enters is the same one the kitchen makes, the bill charges, and your stock deducts — no double entry. You can start in a browser today and add a thermal printer later when you want bills and tickets to print on their own.
Do I need to buy hardware to start?+
No. A web browser on a device you already own — a phone, the till computer, or a kitchen tablet — is enough to run TableSathi from day one. There is nothing to install and no dedicated POS terminal to buy. When you are ready for bills and kitchen tickets to print automatically, pair a supported thermal receipt printer over Wi-Fi or USB through the TableSathi print agent. Many cafes start browser-only to learn the flow, then add one printer at the counter and one in the kitchen as they grow. The software works the same either way; printing is the only part that needs hardware.
Does it track my stock automatically?+
Yes. Set the recipe for a dish once — say what goes into a plate of momo or a cappuccino — and every sale deducts those exact ingredients from your stock automatically. Your public page at tablesathi.com/your-cafe is for browsing — guests can see your menu, photos, opening hours, and contact details from their own phone, and the page stays up to date automatically as you change your menu. Ordering and payment happen inside the cafe, taken by your staff on the floor, where the order flows into the kitchen and onto the bill. So the public page is the simplest possible website for your cafe and a way for new guests to find you in the directory, but it is not an online-ordering or delivery storefront.
